How to deal with data loss?

Before discussing this issue, I would like to emphasize one point: data backup must be consistently done and treated as a key part of daily operations. A good data backup habit is to backup twice a day (once at noon and once at night); The backup disk adopts a rotation system; The backup disk does not need to be used to write other data; Dual backup of floppy disk and hard disk; Floppy disks will be phased out after being used more than 100 times.

As long as there is a good data backup, once the hard disk data is damaged, the data backup disk can be used to restore the data as before.

In the past, users often encountered the problem of system data damage caused by viruses or other reasons, and when they checked the data backup disk, they lost one or two days of data. If encountering such a situation, the first step is to restore the data from the backup disk, and then fully replenish the lost data from the past few days, especially ensuring that the total purchase amount is correct. Finally, perform the "replacement of old user cards" operation on all lost records and insert them into the corresponding user meters of each user card (be sure not to insert the wrong meter). This way, the system can be restored to normal, but the previous user card can only be scrapped.

In addition, for users with over 500 electricity meters, our service personnel can create a DOS batch command file for data backup, and compress the data using commonly used data compression formats. Then use shortcuts to create it on the Windows platform. This can reduce the trouble caused by insufficient floppy disk space. It is both simple and convenient. For example, the data backup batch command file made using ARJ as a compression tool can be used as a borrowing signature.
